Leena Mistry
Piano Teacher and founder of Solfege
Leena’s journey of discovering music was sparked by a cousin and a childhood experience of living with a musically inclined family in France.
For the curious but introverted Leena, music soon became an outlet to express herself. Teaching came in with her clarinet tutor encouraging her to accompany younger students at recitals, giving her insights into how people across ages connected with music.
As a music educator, the greatest challenge and delight for Leena is helping each student create their unique journey and helping diverse individuals connect with an instrument in a personal way.
